NFT-Inator vs UniqMyNFT
Forming an idea into a functioning NFT project is a very difficult task without the proper resources at hand to support the process. An ideal NFT generator allows you to create your entire collection and deploy it to the blockchain without writing a single line of code, which is a huge bonus with how complicated web3 can be when you’re working by yourself or with a small team.
Just as anything else, there’s multiple different paths creators may choose to take when looking for a NFT-Generator depending on what they’re specifically looking for, and or what services are offered by said generator. You’ll find as an NFT creator that the right workflow will massively improve your experience. Using a platform that has thought through the logical and natural process of NFT creation and given thought to how easily your work can be shared on social media or how a team can use the platform collaboratively is extremely important and will help you stay on top of the workload.
The purpose of this article is to explore the differences and similarities between UniqMyNFT and NFT-Inator to hopefully provide the necessary information to make the very important decision of what generator you’ll deem is more fit for the creation of your project, and begin or continue your journey as a creator. Let’s get started!
Much like the previous blog on Genfty, we were surprised to see the model of this generator. There’s not much to compare between UniqMyNFT and NFT-Inator as it seems UniqMyNFT is built more so for the beginning stages, and lacks in the tools necessary to add to utility such as; smart contracts, rules, token sets, one-of-ones, and etc.
Really, the biggest similarity between NFT-Inator and UniqMyNFT is they made uploading traits to the generator very simple, and efficient. Other then that, I’m struggling to find similarities between the two generators, as I stated before It seems UniqMyNFT is a quick and easy way to export generated artwork and metadata, although creators don’t have the freedom to customize their tokens, and or play with certain traits to achieve their desired outcome.
While we commend UniqMyNFT for providing their service, and are sure they’ve helped many builders upon the journey of creating a project in the earlier stages, we feel for the paywall set past 100 tokens, there’s much more that needs to be added to the generator in itself.
I’d like to list here that UniqMyNFT has an advantage when it comes to small art collections, however; Unfortunately I feel that the limitations on customizability of creator’s tokens are too great. For example artists via NFT-Inator can utilize the “Prototype Stage” to perfect their traits, and make necessary changes. Popsivly; a user of NFT-Inator and member of our discord said “I can clearly see mistakes I couldn't see in photoshop and where to improve.” and I feel like this is exactly where UniqMyNFT lost me in the generation process.
Like usual, let’s start with UI, and workflow for creators! We feel NFT-Inator’s UI is more efficient in allowing creators to separate certain functions, and maximize their workflow. Within our prototype phase, creators can also look through multiple previews at once seeing how their traits mix together, making changes where necessary. In UniqMyNFT’s case, you can only see one preview at a time of a randomly generated token within the collection, regardless of the collection size, making it very unreliable to preview your artwork as you work. We believe in this case, NFT-Inator’s UI is much more user friendly, and workflow efficient.
One huge advantage NFT-Inator has over UniqMyNFT is the fact that even if a creator was attempting to utilize UniqMyNFT to generate 100 tokens for free; The “UniqMyNFT” watermark isn’t in the description of their token, but rather plastered on top of the creator’s art. The watermark in this case is generic gray text put right over the artwork, and is uncentered leading to a very unprofessional look, and taking away from the original artwork. In the case of NFT-Inator, not only is our watermark in the description of tokens, the watermark is easily removable via tokens earned by completing tasks such as interacting with other users and contributing to socials. Creator’s can also remove the “Powered by NFT-Inator” watermark via the Contract Pass.
Arguably the biggest advantage of utilizing NFT-Inator rather than UniqMyNFT is that creators can launch their entire project via NFT-Inator creating immense utility for their community off the bat. From artwork to an audited and gas optimized ERC-721A smart contract, NFT-Inator has everything a creator may need to build their project! Creators are also free to utilize our other tools via Process Labs. One of said tools is Verify; Securely attach photos, videos, files and more to your NFTs. Install in minutes, on any website, without changes to your smart contract! Let’s not forget Verify is also free to use!
Regarding features, NFT-Inator is a tool many creators use to build upon their initial traits, this is due to our “Prototype Phase” allowing you to move around/mix certain traits, create custom tokens that you want appearing in the final generation, and adding 1of1’s to your collection. UniqMyNFT unfortunately lacks these features, which we feel strongly limits potential user’s creativity, as their platform only allows for pre-made traits being imported, and users don’t have the freedom to rearrange their tokens and or make certain changes to certain tokens.
Another advantage NFT-Inator has over UniqMyNFT is the fact that builders can create multiple token sets. A token set is a collection of tokens that will make up your generated collection. They exist as token sets to enable saving different collections of tokens without overwriting previous ones. This is extra handy if you want to apply different rules or traits to different token sets. For example, we could create a token set for mutant traits in the collection, and another set for the normal artwork. Then you can make adjustments on the fly without losing progress in either section.
In the case of generation, unfortunately the maximum number of tokens creators can download via UniqMyNFT is 100. If you’ve read up on our blog about Genfty, you recognize this number, however; In UniqMyNFT’s case not only is generating a collection past 100 tokens locked behind a paywall, but the free tokens generated also have a watermark over the creator’s artwork. The advantage NFT-Inator has in this case is the fact that builders can utilize NFT-Inator to generate unlimited tokens, token sets, with no fees or paywalls, giving builders the freedom to have complete control of how their tokens are generated and presented.
Now let’s take a look at our “Generate Phase”! Along with features previously mentioned such as token sets, and 1of1’s, here builders have the freedom to set rarities to their tokens, hide traits, view a live rarity table showing the rarest of their tokens within the collection, set filters on what traits they would like to see within their generated tokens, edit their generated tokens, and even regenerate, again; free of charge! NFT-Inator also has advanced features accessible by a one-time purchase of our Generator Pass, or holding 3 of our own “Space Sneks Society” NFTs; applying Pro Edition to all current and future DHH tools. Advanced features include “Rules” allowing builders to set certain rules within their collection, making certain traits only mix with each other, not mix with other traits, and more.
Let’s talk IPFS! Via NFT-Inator builders can upload their collection to IPFS all in house using NFT-Inator. Did I mention this feature is completely free to use? Builders can choose whether they’d like to upload their collection to nft.storage completely free of charge, or Pinata starting at $20/mo.
Lastly, let’s look into the topic of Smart Contracts. As mentioned before, UniqMyNFTs function is to generate and download randomly generated tokens, and metadata for said tokens. In NFT-Inators case, we’re confident in our service’s ability to assist builders in the entire process of building a project from artwork to utility. This is where smart contracts come in, where builders can easily Deploy advanced ERC-721A smart contract for your NFT collection, with zero code or technical knowledge. Our smart contracts provide features such as, but not limited to; allowlisting, delayed reveals, first mint free, a fully built out dashboard to manage your mint and smart contract all through NFT-Inator, and much more!
Via NFT-Inators smart contract dashboard builders can deploy their mint button, and manage their project from anywhere, watch their mint progress live, as well as update settings and enable new contract features without a single line of code!
NFT-Inator includes features that are designed to make the creation process smoother by making intricate tasks that are time consuming much faster and easier to organize. Features such as the Advanced Rules System, Rarity Chart Exports and the ability to create multiple token sets allows creators to streamline their process and get the most from their collection. You can create multiple contracts from the same tokens, or create variations on your collection for a new contract.
Let’s get into the pricing! While UniqMyNFT is free to use initially, that only lasts up until you’d like to download or upload more than 100 tokens. Keep in mind that the artwork via this method would be watermarked by a large “UniqMyNFT” text. Past 100 tokens, there’s three pricing options depending on what supply a collection would be;
- 1,000 Tokens - $149
- 5,000 Tokens - $299
- 10,000 Tokens - $499
On the other hand, NFT-Inator is free to create and launch a collection without access to the pro features, or if a creator decides the value of pro access is worth the commitment, our Generator Pass per project, not per export starts at $149 in ETH for an unlimited amount of tokensets and exports. Creators can also hold 3 of our NFTs resulting in a permanent Generator Pass for an unlimited number of projects.
NFT-Inator also provides the opportunity to remove the watermark, via the description of projects, such as on OpenSea. This can instantly be done via the purchasing of a Contract Pass, and or creators can remove the watermark for free by earning credits. Users of NFT-Inator can earn credits by speaking in discord, and or supporting on socials! NFT-Inator also has the ability to create pro contracts, that enable you to redeploy on the fly, update artwork and metadata after launch, whitelabel the source code, and access to priority email support.
NFT-Inator was built with careful consideration and analysis of the NFT creation process. While UniqMyNFT in our opinion is built towards more simple projects. We feel NFT-Inator in general is geared towards more serious projects, rather than only having the option to upload your traits, and export randomized tokens. NFT-Inator provides the tools necessary to build upon your initial traits, add custom tokens, one of ones, rules, a built out smart contract, and etc. In UniqMyNFTs case, we feel the generator strongly limits the creativity of founders, and the generator's limitations are apparent. NFT-Inator’s well thought out UI intentionally allows creators to preview the token they’re working on, while being able to see and easily access other saved tokens, and making any changes to their traits, rarities, rules, and other features.
NFT-Inator presents creators with a Token Rarity Chart list which allows them to build a unique gallery of all their traits and even lets you export them to share with your holders. This feature makes these details simple to view and considers how easily they can be shared on socials. At a later stage in the process, NFT-Inator provides a Live Rarity section to see how tokens rank after generation. This gives creators another chance to view traits overall in case they want to make any adjustments.
NFT-Inator offers its smart contract services with only a 2% commission, where as UniqMyNFT doesn’t take the extra step to offer this feature for founders. NFT-Inator builders have much more freedom and customization options to meet the needs of their project directly, such as allowlisting, delayed reveals, first mint free, and a fully built out dashboard to manage your mint and smart contract all through NFT-Inator. While UniqMyNFT may be a good option for an art drop, we feel in the case of utility, NFT-Inator is in a field of its own.
NFT-Inators UI is simple and easier to manage for absolute beginners all the way to experienced designers. NFT-Inator cuts through the noise by presenting all the important and relevant information on a single page, following the intuitive process for NFT design. You get all the important sections and features presented at a glance so creators can focus on producing their collection. In line with NFT-Inators effortless UI, the full process from prototype, to generate, to export, and contract creation is clearer to follow.
In regards to features, NFT-Inator simply provides more value to founders, providing the tools and services necessary to create a unique and passionate collection. We consider the NFT creation process very important, not only to builders, but the space in general, and that’s why we provide a variety of next steps for founders, past the initial creation of a collection. Such as Verify, which was briefly mentioned above. Verify is a verification tool provided to builders free of charge! Securely attach photos, videos, files and more to your NFTs. Install in minutes, on any website, without changes to your smart contract.
NFT-Inator is a clear, simple and intuitive alternative to UniqMyNFT as it glides through the NFT creation process allowing for unlimited adjustments, unlimited tokens, easy shareability, collaboration, and holds the most competitive commission you’ll find in the market. All for a simple price that’ll offer you the smoothest journey and assist in propelling your NFT project to be a worldwide hit. So what are you waiting for?
